Recent Works
Denis O’Connor worked with the medium of glass for many years. He was a pioneer contributor to the evolution of studio glass in Australia during the 1970s and 1980s. However from the late 1980s he reconnected to his art school discovery of drawing the human figure.
Denis’s work is generated by the emotive directness of drawing. His work explores through two dimensional works on paper, canvas, and mixed media including glass, the piecing together of mental, emotional and physical experiences that have survived as fragments in the mind and as physical possessions.
